Sergiy embarked on his journey to provide home care services after spending over 15 years in healthcare and related fields. His journey began with obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Biology, with a pre-med emphasis. This educational foundation laid the groundwork for his exceptional career in healthcare and clinical research and equipped him with a solid foundation in the sciences, further enriching his understanding of the patient care at home. He saw the potential to bridge the gap between traditional healthcare practices and the desire for personalized, preventative compassionate care at home.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Sergiy gained invaluable direct patient experience. This hands-on involvement was the cornerstone of his career and allowed him to connect with individuals on a personal level, comprehending their unique needs and challenges while fostering a deep sense of empathy. This experience, combined with his caring heart, has driven him to make a real difference in the lives of those he serves.

In addition to his CNA certification, Sergiy is also a volunteer for and was trained and certified by the Alzheimer's Association, highlighting his dedication to addressing the specific care requirements of individuals affected by Alzheimer's and related dementias. This specialized training equips him to provide and teach a higher level of support and understanding for clients with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and their families.

Sergiy's professional journey has been marked by his work in the biopharmaceutical clinical research field, with a particular focus on neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's, Huntington's, and ALS. This experience has given him a profound understanding of the complexities of these conditions, effects they have on individual’s daily quality of life, and the importance of compassionate care provided by Healing Care At Home caregivers.
